Tap & Hop Showed Love to People with Disabilities (PWDs) at the Edwenase Rehabilitation Centre in Kumasi.

At Tap & Hop, we’ve always believed that innovation should serve people first. Our mission has never been just about making public transportation digital; it’s about making life easier, fairer, and more connected for everyday Ghanaians.

 

On Friday, October 31, 2025, we brought that belief to life in a profoundly human way.

 

The CEO, Prince Asamoah, led the Tap & Hop team to the Edwenase Rehabilitation Centre in Kumasi, a Special Needs Home that provides care, shelter, and vocational training to nearly 200 people living with disabilities (special aid). The visit was part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to give back to the communities we operate in.

 

During the visit, we donated much-needed foodstuffs and financial support to help sustain the centre’s operations. The staff expressed heartfelt gratitude, revealing that the donation came at a time when their food supplies were nearly depleted.

 

But beyond the donations, the Tap & Hop team spent the day engaging with the residents, taking pictures, and playing music and dancing together. It was a heartwarming day.
