Our Services

Tap & Hop provides a contactless payment system for public and private transport. Passengers can tap their card or phone to pay fares when boarding and tap off when arriving. The exact fare is calculated and deducted automatically. Our Services are currently available in Ghana and may be expanded to other regions.

Account Registration

To use certain features of our Services, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

Ownership

All content, materials, software, and technology provided by Tap & Hop are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our materials without our explicit written consent.

Pricing

Fares and service fees are calculated based on distance traveled and may be subject to change. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of any pricing changes. Tap & Hop reserves the right to modify fares or introduce new fees at any time.

Payment

All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. By using our Services, you authorize Tap & Hop to charge your selected payment method for all fares and fees incurred. You agree to provide accurate payment information and maintain sufficient funds for your journeys.

Prohibited Activities

  • Unauthorized Use

    You may not use our Services for any unlawful or prohibited purpose, including but not limited to fraud, tampering with payment systems, distributing malware, or violating any applicable laws in Ghana or your jurisdiction.

  • Reverse Engineering

    You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any software, reader device, or technology provided by Tap & Hop.

  • Misuse of System

    Any attempt to manipulate fares, evade payment, tamper with tap readers, or otherwise abuse the system is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Termination

Tap & Hop reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to our Services at its discretion, without notice, for any violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that may harm other users or our system.
